Welcome to our web site. Please click on the “Events” tab above to see what we have done, and are planning to do.

The Rotary Club of Langkawi is a relatively new club, chartered on 8 March, 2013 with Rotary International under the Rotary District 3300 umbrella, but already we have managed to embark on numerous worthwhile causes that have benefitted not only the local community but international communities across borders. Some are award-winning projects while others are pilot projects and local authority-endorsed.

We are a strictly non-sectarian and non-denominational club.

We are privileged to have a dynamic and enthusiastic team of members from a range of different nationalities, age groups, languages, occupations and backgrounds that have come together to do good in the community. We have one very important thing in common and that is we all love our Langkawi Global Geopark and call Langkawi ‘home’.

We meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month at The Royal Langkawi Yacht Club, Jalan Dato Syed Omar, 07000, Kuah, Langkawi
Kedah Darul Aman. We meet for an informal meal and fellowship at 7.30pm, followed by our meeting at 8.30pm. All are welcome, members and non-members. Our doors are always open to those who want to make a difference on this beautiful island. You will be met with a warm welcome to join us for fun, fellowship and service above self.
