Welcome to our web site. Please click on the “Events” tab above to see what we have done, and are planning to do. For example, on 16th and 17th April 2016 we held our major fund-raiser 2016 RCL Westin Langkawi Golf Masters. To see what the press had to say about this exciting event go to: expatgo golf.

The Rotary Club of Langkawi is a relatively new club, chartered on March 8, 2013 with Rotary International under the Rotary District 3300 umbrella, but already we have managed to embark on numerous worthwhile causes that have benefitted not only the local community but international communities across borders. Some are award-winning projects while others are pilot projects and local authority-endorsed.

We are a strictly non-sectarian and non-denominational club.

We are privileged to have a dynamic and enthusiastic team of members from a range of different nationalities, age groups, languages, occupations and backgrounds that have come together to do good in the community. We have one very important thing in common and that is we all love our Langkawi Global Geopark and call Langkawi ‘home’.

We have changed our meeting frequency, day, and time: we now meet on alternate Tuesdays (see our calendar on the “Events” tab) at The Frangipani Resort and Spa, Pantai Tengah at 8.30pm and normally meet for a fellowship dinner beforehand at the hotel restaurant at 7.30pm. Our doors are always open to those who want to make a difference on this beautiful island. You will be met with a warm welcome to join us for fun, fellowship and service above self.
